This new 'State of the Art' bus storage and office space is an approximately 115000sf multi level steel and concrete structure completed in 2010.
The building was designed to LEED certification standards and features rainwater harvesting technology for the bus wash systems, a geothermal heat pump that capitalizes on the earth’s natural energy, high recycled content building materials, including Fly Ash Concrete
The new facility has capacity for up to 60 buses while hosting a repair garage, heated indoor storage garage, maintenance and repair space with roof skylights to maximize natural daylight.
Scope of Services
DBA was responsible for the design of the Structural Steel and Foundation system as part of the Design-Bid-Build package.
DBA also played a significant role during construction as part of the Contract Administration team.
